The Triad Method is a whole-body program for the female entrepreneur whose migraines, gut, and hormones have been running the show — while she's the one telling everyone else how to feel better. It's the path to becoming The Aligned Woman: someone who finally looks at the whole picture of her own body, root cause first.
Apply for The Triad MethodHave you been told it's IBS — or even gotten an actual SIBO diagnosis — and you're still bloated every single day?
You've reached the limits of what your doctor can offer you, and you're not sure where else to turn.
You're doing everything "right" — the elimination diet, the probiotics, the supplements someone handed you a list for — and your stomach still looks 5 months pregnant by 3pm.
You're tired of your symptoms being 25–50% better from time to time. You're ready to stop planning date night around wherever has a bathroom nearby.
She came to us in an all-or-nothing cycle — training hard, still exhausted, still bloated, still waiting for her body to feel like hers again. No real answers for the migraines or the digestion that never quite settled.
Months later: real strength, energy that actually holds through her day, digestion that finally feels predictable — and a relationship with her body built on trust instead of restriction.
The photo is one piece of it. The bigger shift happened in how she talks to herself now.
This is the same team & approach behind The Triad MethodAcross years of running functional labs, one thing shows up again and again: it's rarely a hidden infection. Eight times out of ten, it's basic deficiencies — nobody checked, because everyone was looking for something more dramatic. That's exactly what HTMA is built to catch first.
Buy back your time, your body, your freedom. Migraines that don't run your calendar. A gut that stops deciding what you can say yes to. Hormones that finally work with your ambition instead of interrupting it.
Imagine your first thought in the morning isn't your body at all. No mental gut-check — am I bloated, am I exhausted, can I trust myself today — before your feet even hit the floor.
We start with HTMA testing on day one — your kit ships immediately, not after weeks of waiting to even get looked at. Results typically take 4–6 weeks to come back (a week for the kit to reach you, then a few weeks in the lab), and once they do, they build your functional blueprint: your minerals, your nutrition, and the emotional health patterns we want to work on from the very start.
Then, three months in, we sit down and look at the whole picture: real data from how your body has actually responded, not a first impression. That's what tells us whether — and which — further testing your body genuinely needs. Not a package tier, not a guess made before we'd ever worked together, and only if it's actually necessary. Healing takes longer than three months — we start there anyway, because it's enough time to know for certain, with real evidence, before you commit to more.
The bloat that's made you change your outfit three times before a client meeting. The IBS flare you've quietly built your whole calendar around. This is where that stops running your life.
The migraines that have pulled you out of client calls, launches, family moments. The hormone chaos you'd quietly made peace with, because no one ever gave you a real answer for it.
This is where you get your actual life back. Not managed. Not maintained. Back.
The lower belly bloat that's never fully gone away, no matter how clean you eat — gone.
The migraine that shows up like clockwork with your cycle, the one you've quietly built your launch calendar around without ever saying it out loud — quiet.
The brain fog that's made it hard to even dream past this week, let alone show up fully as yourself — in your business, in your relationships, in your own life — lifted.
This isn't maintenance. It compounds, month after month, because you finally got out of your body's way — and it wants to heal itself.
"Increased motivation, increased mobility, chronic pains are greatly reduced… my ring is looser and my skin looks great."
Meagan C."Mental health — anxiety has been significantly less. Having a lot more energy than prior. Physically, feeling super strong throughout the day."
Robyn J."Way better digestion and energy related to eating. Less bloating. Strength has come back and mind to muscle connection is back."
Alyssa M.Not measured in pounds. Measured in the symptoms that were actually running her life.
"Before I came to Kendall I was experiencing severe hormonal imbalances, and overall I was pretty miserable. I felt uncomfortable in my body and was left without answers after visiting my primary care provider, only to be told my labs look fine, and that I was just 'getting older.'"
After doing all of the recommended labs, Kendall was able to identify serious stress and sex hormone imbalances causing her to feel unlike herself. She gave her a protocol of supplements and other recommendations — and over the course of a few months, that turned into less anxiety, better energy, and, in her words, "more like a human again."
Tiffany S. · Client"Chronic yeast infections that came back every three months, painful gas, bloating I'd dealt with for years. In five months working with Kendall, I haven't had a single infection. The pain is gone, and the bloating has been minimized drastically."
Leslie Monnette · Client"Testing found gut-based imbalances I never would have guessed on my own — overgrowth of negative bacteria, parasites, a lack of real digestive capacity. I finally feel like I'm on the path to actually healing my gut, not just managing it."
Sam Cady · Client"Anxiety, depression, isolation, hot flashes, major GI issues — I'd been addressing the physical symptoms for three years and they kept coming back the moment my stress went back up. Two months in with Kendall, I was laughing again. I hadn't let myself cry in over two years, and now I can. I feel like myself again."
Lisa Palecek · Client"After two pregnancies and years of breastfeeding, I wanted real insight into how my body was actually doing — fatigue, brain fog, low libido, eczema I couldn't explain. We ran functional labs on my hormones, gut microbiome, and vitamin and mineral status. Two months into my protocol, my body is more relaxed, my adrenals are healing, and my eczema is nearly gone."
Jordan Z. · ClientChronically inflamed. Under-eating. Bloated after every meal. Workouts inconsistent.
Decrease in overall inflammation. Food freedom. Not bloated after every meal. Training on her own terms.
Undereating and missing meals through the day. Afternoon energy crashes. No clear strategy for how to actually eat for her goals.
Consistent energy through the day. Tuned into hunger cues. Feeling strong and mobile in daily life.
Skipped meals. Afternoon energy crashes. Poor gut health and persistent brain fog.
Mental health resilient and thriving. Tuned into hunger cues. Feeling strong and empowered in daily life.
"Every single week I was getting a full-blown migraine — nausea, vomiting, ears ringing, couldn't see straight, couldn't stand up. With a newborn, not being able to function, I felt like I had no life."
Katie reached out to Kendall a few months postpartum, after her OB and PCP couldn't find any answers. In their initial consult, Kendall had a few ideas of what it could be — so they ran labs. What came back was something real, and something her doctors had simply never thought to look for.
A protocol of supplements and diet changes, built around still breastfeeding, followed. The result: zero migraines — down from one every single week. "I have so much energy. I can't believe that I'm two years postpartum and in my 30s, feeling really the best I ever have."
Katie Hill · ClientDays a month where you're not fully present for your clients, because your body quietly took the wheel — a migraine, a cramping cycle, a gut that's flaring, a wave of exhaustion that came out of nowhere. That adds up to weeks of your working year, every year, spent managing your body instead of running your business.
The launch you pushed back because you couldn't trust your energy to show up for it. The sales call where you were technically there, but the brain fog got there first.
The quiet gap between the business you're capable of building and the one you're currently running at half power.
Here's the usual path: you bring in the bloating, the gut inflammation, the constipation-diarrhea cycle that's been going on for months — and if you're lucky, you leave with a Metamucil recommendation or a stool softener. If it's bad enough, you get referred for a scope. Then you wait. Weeks, often months, living in the in-between, knowing something is wrong while nobody's confirmed it yet.
And even then — if the scope comes back "normal," or it doesn't fit neatly into a named disorder, you're often sent home with nothing. No protocol, no explanation for the bloating, the brain fog, the migraines, the heaviness that never fully lifts. Because conventional medicine isn't built to treat what hasn't become a diagnosis yet. It's built to treat the disorder once it's already there.
This — the bloating, the fog, the migraines, the heaviness — is what comes before the gut disorders and the diagnoses. Left unaddressed, this is the same terrain thyroid dysfunction and autoimmune conditions take root in, and — the research is clear — a significant share of chronic and serious disease traces back to exactly this kind of unaddressed, ongoing inflammation.
Here's the part nobody says out loud: the model you've been using was never built to catch this early. Doctors diagnose once you're already in disease range — reactive medicine, not preventative. Nobody is looking at your gut, your nervous system, and your hormones as one connected system, because almost no one is trained to. This isn't a small gap. It's the whole reason nothing's fully worked yet.
Most multidisciplinary care says it's collaborative. In practice, it's a doctor, a naturopath, and a coach who've never read each other's notes — three different directions, and you're the one left to reconcile them.
We built the opposite. Alyssa and Kendall are both hands-on across your testing, your nutrition, and your training — this isn't one coach for the body and another for everything else. Kendall leads Nervous System Rewiring specifically, but every decision is made from one shared file, one intake, one plan, updated together every week. You will never explain your story three times to people who've never spoken to each other. When we say "your team," we mean it.
Here's what's actually included when you work with us, side by side with what a doctor's visit or a naturopath appointment typically covers.
This isn't a knock on doctors or naturopaths — they do what they do well. It's that "the whole picture" was never really anyone's job until now.

Growing up, I was the kid with the "sensitive tummy." I planned camping trips around bathroom access before I could name why. Sushi, too much sugar — it would hit me like a truck, every time. Brain fog and acne followed me through my teens and into my twenties. I got a stool test once. Doctor said everything looked clear. I had no idea what to do with that, so I just lived with it, for years.
Then I went to RMT school and fell in love with the body — neuroanatomy, musculoskeletal anatomy, yoga, nutrition. It cracked something open: if I got out of my body's way, it already knew how to heal. That belief is the actual root of everything I do now, and it started with nervous system work years before I had a name for it.
Working in multidisciplinary clinics, I watched almost every woman who walked through the door check off the same boxes on her intake form — bloating, IBS, migraines. Not occasionally. Almost every single one. That's when it really landed for me how many women are living in this fog, especially the ones building something and carrying more than anyone around them realizes.
Then it got personal in a different way. A high-risk HPV infection, showing up while my immune system was already worn down. My doctor's plan was the LEEP procedure — no real conversation about why my body was vulnerable in the first place. Around the same time, I contracted hemorrhagic dengue fever and nearly died. Both happened because my gut, nervous system, and hormones weren't resilient — they were wide open.
I used the same approach I now call the Triad Method, and I cleared the infection myself. No LEEP. No more bloating, no more constipation — just more freedom in my body and my mind, freedom I've used to keep building something that's going to help hundreds more women feel exactly this.
I launched AlignU in 2023 focused on metabolic coaching. That's where I met Kendall, who was running functional testing for our clients. We clicked instantly, and we built this to close the exact gap we'd both watched conventional and functional medicine leave open, over and over: symptom-chasing, expensive testing, a stack of supplements or prescriptions that never actually gets to the root — until the thing that could have been caught early becomes autoimmune disease, or worse. Roughly 40% of cancers are linked to modifiable lifestyle factors. That number should be a wake-up call, not a footnote.
That's the real power of this work: getting out of your body's way so it can do what it already knows how to do. You cannot out-test your way to healing, and you cannot get there from a prescription or a supplement stack alone.
There's a version of grief nobody prepares you for. It's not the funeral. It's the random Tuesday years later when something good happens and you reach for the phone before you remember.
I built this business in the middle of losing my dad. Twelve-hour days. Total control over everything I could touch — because staying busy was easier than feeling it. I don't think that makes me unique. I think most women building something right now are carrying more than they let on.
I've lived the brain fog. I've lived the inflammation that quietly decides how you show up on a sales call, how much energy you bring to a launch, how a painful period pulls you away from your clients, your family, and the version of yourself who's supposed to be the visionary — not just the woman surviving the day.
You didn't get into business to just survive it. I'm not here to let you.

But that diagnosis wasn't the beginning of my story — it was the end of fifteen years of one. Digestive issues since I was five. Multiple ER visits a year. Endoscopies. "You have IBS" — whatever that meant. Hormonal migraines and mood swings starting at fourteen, treated with antidepressants instead of anyone asking why. By eighteen and nineteen, after some genuinely traumatic years, I'd added anxiety and PTSD to the list, along with the insomnia that came with them.
By the time lupus got a name, my whole life had already been years of conventional medicine throwing pills at symptoms while the baseline kept getting worse. The doctors were honest with me, at least: there's no cure. It might stay the same. It might get worse. You'll probably need more medication, more steroids, more immunosuppressants, over time.
I looked at that trajectory. I looked at the side effects of what I was being offered. And I said no — I have to try something else.
That's when I started paying attention to the mind-body connection, because I'd already seen it happen in my own body: the more stress I carried, the more my symptoms flared. I took time off college — I couldn't have kept going anyway — and went to a meditation and mindfulness retreat in Spain. I surrendered to it completely.
I learned a lot there. But the one thing that actually changed everything was the day we learned about the autonomic nervous system.
I still have the page of that workbook clear in my mind — the list of nervous system dysregulation symptoms: digestive issues, skin issues, anxiety, insomnia, chronic joint pain, hair loss. I remember looking at it and thinking: these are all my symptoms.
Then I understood that the nervous system wasn't fixed. It was something you could actually work with — retrain, rewire, through both brain and body. And for the first time, I had hope. My diagnosis was not my destiny.
That realization propelled me into mindfulness, then neuroscience and somatics. I studied therapeutic and functional breathwork, bodywork — each discipline was a missing piece in fully understanding how to rewire the nervous system. My own method was born from putting those pieces together.
Being in those communities is also where I started learning about naturopathy and nutrition, and I eventually pursued further study in both. It was genuinely helpful and enlightening — but I kept coming back to the same realization, over and over: you can't diet, exercise, or supplement your way out of a dysregulated nervous system, or a body that doesn't feel safe.
That's the piece almost everyone else misses. It's not what I add to a protocol. It's what makes the rest of the protocol actually work.
If there's one thing I'd want you to know before we ever get on a call: nervous system regulation and safety in your body isn't an optional part of healing. It's the foundation — everything else is built on top of it.
Your body was designed to heal itself. When we prioritize regulation first, the healing process stops being an uphill battle. A much deeper, more profound transformation becomes possible.
You've met the team. You've seen the process.
So what does it look like to work with us? Let's break it down.
Gut, hormones & nervous system — treated as ONE system, not three separate problems.
This isn't a quick intake form. We ask about your life, your history — because it all matters, and this is where we actually start seeing you, not just your symptoms. Kendall and I read every word ourselves and decide together whether this is a real match, before either of us sits down with you on your Root Cause Call.
We'll talk through what's actually going on and map out exactly what your first phase looks like inside The Triad Method.
If it's a fit, you're invited in. 25 spots, on purpose — that's what it takes to actually stay hands-on with every client. Once we're full, you'll be added to the waitlist.
You start with a three-month Foundation — enough time to regulate, and give us real data on how your body actually responds. At month three, we do a deep dive into that data and have an honest conversation about what's next. The full Triad Method journey unfolds over ten months, with the option to continue from there. We tell you this upfront because we'd rather you know the real shape of this before you start than be surprised by it later.
We don't guess, and we're not asking you to either. HTMA testing from day one — plus GI-MAP, DUTCH, or OAT testing when your data calls for it, identified and included at your month-three Deep Dive — tells us what your body actually needs before we build a single piece of your protocol.
Most SIBO protocols fail for one specific, predictable reason, and it isn't the protocol itself. As Kendall puts it: if your nervous system is still in a stressed, "on" state, it keeps creating the exact environment SIBO thrives in — low stomach acid, slowed motility, a gut that never fully gets to rest and repair. You can kill the bacteria off. But if that environment never actually changes, it's common for it to come right back, because the root of what let it take hold in the first place is still there, quietly driving it. That root usually lives in the nervous system — which is exactly what Kendall works on with you every single month, not as an add-on, but as the piece that makes clearing it stick. This is also why so many people never get retested after a protocol ends — they feel okay for a few weeks, then they're right back where they started. We test again on purpose, specifically to catch this instead of assuming the first round worked.
Actually, less often than you'd think. Across years of running functional labs, the far more common finding isn't some rare hidden pathogen — it's basic deficiencies. Low stomach acid, low secretory IgA, depleted minerals. The infection story gets more attention online. The deficiency story is what's actually true for most people, and it's exactly what HTMA is built to catch on day one.
Migraines are almost always downstream of a nervous system that's been in overdrive for a long time — tension, sensory overwhelm, a body that never fully powers down. You don't have to feel "stressed" for this to be true; a lot of women describe feeling completely fine right up until the migraine hits, because the nervous system pattern is running quietly in the background, not as a feeling they'd notice day to day.
Because none of them were looking at the whole picture — and none of them were trying to build anything in you. They were treating your gut, or your hormones, or "managing your stress," each in isolation, each aiming for the same finish line: get you back to baseline. Clear the infection. Stop the flare. Make the symptom go away.
We're not aiming for baseline. Alyssa and Kendall look at your gut, your hormones, and your nervous system as one connected system, sharing one file and one plan, meeting weekly to stay aligned on your case specifically — and the goal isn't just symptom-free. It's capacity. It's the version of you that has actual resilience: a gut that can handle travel, a nervous system that can hold a launch week without falling apart, hormones that aren't dictating your calendar. Women tell us it feels like waking back up in their own bodies — that specific, slightly disorienting "wait, where did this energy come from?" feeling, like getting a piece of your childhood self back. You will not be explaining your story three times to people who've never compared notes, and you will not be settling for "fine."
This isn't built to be one more thing on your plate for ten months and then something you white-knuckle to maintain forever after. It's built to become you — to fit into whatever season you're actually in, so you're not managing a "new lifestyle" that falls apart the second business gets busy or life gets hard. That's the whole point: if this only works when your life is calm and easy, it was never going to hold long-term.
And here's what most people don't expect — this actually buys you back time. When your body isn't running on empty, you're not negotiating with the couch and Netflix every night just to survive the day. You're not needing a nap to get through the afternoon. We genuinely can't think of anything more important than coming home to your own body — but we won't pretend this is a snap of the fingers. It's a relationship: give and take, real participation on your end, evolving slowly instead of all at once. It is not a quick fix. But committed to fully, it will change your entire life.
Investment typically falls between $1,400–$2,000/month, depending on the functional testing your specific case calls for — HTMA is included for everyone, and anything beyond that is identified and priced clearly at your month-three Deep Dive, never a surprise add-on. We'll confirm your exact number on the Root Cause Call once we understand what your body actually needs.
No — we don't accept insurance and we don't offer direct billing. If you're in Canada and have extended health benefits through work, you may be able to submit your sessions for reimbursement, depending on your plan — worth checking with your provider before you apply. Outside Canada, this typically isn't something insurance covers. We're a Canadian-based practice — Alyssa is in BC, and Kendall trained extensively in the US and now works from Mexico — and we work with women everywhere, not just locally.
You don't need another supplement list. You need someone to finally look at the whole picture — the gut, the nervous system, and your hormones, together, the way they've always actually worked.
